Otome no Yu Source
Analysis UnverifiedThe Otome no Yu Source is pumped from a wooded corner of Matsushima in Sakura City, a short drive from Kitsuregawa Onsen, famed for its skin-beautifying waters. Gushing at over 400 litres per minute, the source carries a faint sulphur scent and a slippery, caressing feel. Its lukewarm water, close to body temperature, bubbles with fine foam at the inlet and lets tension melt away the longer it lingers on the skin. It suits those who shy away from hot baths and seek quiet, tree-shaded soaking.
The bar length shows how abundant each component is compared to thresholds that make it "distinctive" (therapeutic spring standards, beauty spring criteria, etc.).
A natural moisturizer also used in skincare lotions. Forms a thin veil on the skin to reduce moisture loss after bathing.

At a source temperature of 42.2°C the water stays mild, suiting long 20–30 minute soaks without overheating. As pH 9.3 alkaline water strips skin oils easily, moisturise after bathing.
With a pH of 9.3, this alkaline water softens dead skin cells and, together with 167.5 mg/kg of metasilicic acid, may support silky skin. Gentle and lukewarm, the simple spring invites deep relaxation on evenings when you want to unwind from a busy day.
Though this simple spring is gentle, its alkaline water removes skin oils, so those with dry skin should moisturise after long soaks and stay hydrated even in lukewarm water.
