Naradanosato Onsen
Analysis UnverifiedNaradanosato Onsen bubbles up in Narada, a secluded village at the foot of the Southern Alps. Legend holds that Empress Koken, who lived here for eight years in the Nara period, recovered her health by bathing, and that the sacred spring where she washed her robes became this source. The Naradanosato source soothes with a gentle, silky alkaline touch that lingers softly on the skin.
The bar length shows how abundant each component is compared to thresholds that make it "distinctive" (therapeutic spring standards, beauty spring criteria, etc.).
Mild antibacterial action keeps the skin clean. Trace transdermal absorption supports tooth and bone health.
A trace component with gentle antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action.
Scores are calculated from mineral analysis data based on the Mineral Spring Analysis Guidelines (Ministry of Environment, Japan). They are unrelated to facility atmosphere or service quality.
▸Note
The temperature, pH and component values shown here are based on the hot spring analysis (source). Actual values in the bath may differ depending on heating, dilution, recycling and filtration. Please check current usage status at the facility.
With the source at around 41°C, the baths tend to be mild, so a long, unhurried soak suits this water. Alkaline water can strip skin oils, so moisturize after bathing.
The alkaline pH 8.8 and 434.9 mg/kg of bicarbonate may soften the skin's surface for a silky skin feel, while 595.1 mg/kg of chloride is traditionally associated with restorative warmth that lingers after bathing.
Avoid bathing during acute illness or with serious heart or kidney conditions, and do not bathe right after drinking alcohol or eating.
