Taki no Yu
Analysis UnverifiedTaki no Yu is one of four springs of differing character that rise within about 50 meters of one another at Yunotai, said to be the oldest bathing ground of Nyuto Onsen. True to its name ("waterfall spring"), it feeds a cascading bath: let the falling water drum on your shoulders and back and stiffness melts away. With a neutral pH of 7.0 and a faint sulfur scent, it is the lightest of the four in mineral content, a spring for resetting the body between soaks.

Warmed by 730.8 mg/kg of chloride and massaged by the falling water, the body may find pain relief for stiff shoulders and lower back, while its sulfur content is traditionally linked to immune system stimulation.
Do not stay under the cascade for too long and skip it when unwell; mind ventilation because of the hydrogen sulfide.
