Sarukura Onsen Mixed Spring
Analysis UnverifiedSarukura Onsen Mixed Spring combines several hot sources rising in national forest on the southeastern foothills of the Hakkoda range, upstream of the Oirase Stream. Its hot water is piped down to the gorge. A neutral simple spring led by sulfate and calcium, it is gentle on the body and warms walkers chilled by the stream air.
The bar length shows how abundant each component is compared to thresholds that make it "distinctive" (therapeutic spring standards, beauty spring criteria, etc.).
A trace component with gentle antibacterial and anti-inflammatory action.
Absorbed through the skin to gently promote peripheral circulation.
Scores are calculated from mineral analysis data based on the Mineral Spring Analysis Guidelines (Ministry of Environment, Japan). They are unrelated to facility atmosphere or service quality.
▸Note
The temperature, pH and component values shown here are based on the hot spring analysis (source). Actual values in the bath may differ depending on heating, dilution, recycling and filtration. Please check current usage status at the facility.
The 55.8°C source is adjusted with water and heating for the baths. Neutral at pH 6.51, it feels gentle on the skin and suits longer soaks, ideal for warming up slowly after a walk along the stream.
With 195.1 mg/kg of sulfate and 53.7 mg/kg of calcium in neutral water, the spring warms the body gently and may encourage circulation. At just 0.541 g/kg total, this mild simple spring invites deep relaxation to the sound of the stream.
The source is hot, so check the bath temperature before entering. Avoid bathing when unwell or after drinking, and rehydrate after long soaks.
