Day-use of facilities is available until 2:00 PM. Hoshi no Yu (法師乃湯) is a mixed-gender bath, but there is a ladies' time from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Please note that reception may close earlier than scheduled due to congestion, especially on Sundays and long holidays, when it might close in the morning.
Closed days: Every Wednesday (plus irregular holidays). Day-trip bathing and lunch breaks are not available during the New Year holidays.
Transit
From JR Jōetsu Shinkansen Jōmō-Kōgen Station (上毛高原駅), take a bus bound for Sarugakyō (猿ヶ京) to the last stop, then transfer to a bus bound for Hōshi Onsen (法師温泉) and get off at the last stop, Hōshi Onsen Entrance. Approximately 40 minutes from Kan-etsu Expressway Tsukiyono IC (月夜野IC) via National Route 17. We do not offer shuttle services, but there are 4 municipal buses (paid) per day operating between Sarugakyō Onsen (猿ヶ京温泉) and Hōshi Onsen (法師温泉). The municipal bus operates only 2 services in the morning and 2 in the afternoon.
