From Oita Expressway Yufuin IC (大分自動車道湯布院IC), take National Route 210 (国道210号), Prefectural Road 537 (県道537号), and a wide-area agricultural road for 35km towards Nagayu Onsen (長湯温泉).

Children who are not toilet-trained must use a baby bath when using the open-air bath. The public bath does not provide shampoo or body soap. Any shampoo or other toiletries you bring can be used in the shower rooms. Family baths are equipped with showers, shampoo, body soap, and other amenities. Ideally, after bathing, it is best not to use a shower or soap to allow the onsen minerals to remain on your skin for maximum effect.
