Suizantei Club Jozankei
Analysis VerifiedSourced via a pump-lifted system, the Suizantei Club Jozankei spring exclusively serves a luxurious 14-room retreat in Jozankei Onsen. This private source fills the elegant Japanese cypress indoor baths within the guest rooms. Immersed in the tranquil atmosphere of Jozankei, which was originally opened as a bath by the ascetic Miizumi Jozan, guests can indulge in the rich, soothing waters while enjoying the fragrant scent of the cypress.
The bar length shows how abundant each component is compared to thresholds that make it "distinctive" (therapeutic spring standards, beauty spring criteria, etc.).
Undissociated boric acid with antibacterial action that keeps the skin surface clean.
A natural moisturizer also used in skincare lotions. Forms a thin veil on the skin to reduce moisture loss after bathing.
Scores are calculated from mineral analysis data based on the Mineral Spring Analysis Guidelines (Ministry of Environment, Japan). They are unrelated to facility atmosphere or service quality.
The temperature, pH and component values shown here are based on the hot spring analysis (source). Actual values in the bath may differ depending on heating, dilution, recycling and filtration. Please check current usage status at the facility.
Because the source temperature is a high 62.0°C, cold water is added to adjust the heat for bathing. As the chloride spring retains body heat well, avoid prolonged bathing; stepping out when you break a light sweat is highly recommended.
Containing 1,359 mg of chloride ions and 822.1 mg of sodium ions per kilogram, this rich chloride spring creates a fine salt veil on the skin. It prevents the evaporation of sweat, making it ideal for those troubled by poor circulation or chronic pain in muscles and joints. The pleasant warmth lingers long after your bath.
Please refrain from bathing if you have acute illnesses with fever, active tuberculosis, severe heart conditions, or are pregnant. Drinking the water is contraindicated for those with kidney disease or high blood pressure.
